Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Make-A-Wish Foundation UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

This page has been set-up in memory for my husband Richard Wildman.  Richard lost his battle with non-hodgkins Lymphoma in December 2008.  Through out his illness he maintained a wonderful blog (mrbaldylymphoma.blogspot.com).  Within this blog Richard created Chemo Man - the super hero for fighting cancer.  After Richard passed away a lady left a message on his blog letting me know that Chemo Man had inspired her nephew to keep fighting his own cancer as he was chuffed that there was a super hero out there helping him with his battle.  I therefore want to keep ChemoMan going in his memory, so any money donated to Chemo Man will be passed onto the Make A Wish foundation to help children suffering life threatening illnesses.

We have taken part in a number of challenges to raise money for this charity and also Lymphoma Research.  The next challenge is the Maidenhead Half Marathon - Sunday 16th September.

Thank you for your support.
