I have been a couch potato for fifty years. Never walked for ten miles let alone run. I am running the 10k Geat Manchester run to raise funds for International Foundation for Mother and Child Health (IFMC) a local chairty working to save lives of women and children in economically deprived areas of Pakistan. First Outpatients unit of Free IFMCH hospital has already been launched. It costs only £600 to keep the unit running for one month.
