Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Chase Bray and Mark Jones are gonna run 100 miles in 3 days. We hope to put our bodies and our minds through the hardships of 100 miles of running with the intention of raising the most amount of money we can. Everyday people around the world wake up and live their lives suffering with and trying their best to deal with Cancer. It affects one in every four of us, either directly or vicariously we all know someone suffering. We personally know someone who has cancer and we would like to do this challenge in order to raise money towards research for a cure. It is the worst thing for someone to have, and we all should help to try to one day eradicate it.
Chase who will continue with the training whilst in Afghanistan, and along with Mark who'll be training his nuts off back in the UK, are intent on acheiving our goal of running 100 miles within 3 days at the end of April/May 2013.
I hope that yourselves can dig deep into your pockets and help us acheive our goal of £2000.
Thanks alot for any donations and we'll keep you posted on our progress.....
Wish us luck.

Chase is now back home and Mark and Chase are training hard putting miles in to their legs to get ready for the big run.
A date has now been decided on the dates and location. We will be running on 17th, 18th and 19th June. We will be running from Oxford to Richmond on the Thames path. From Queen's college playing grounds to Richmond old town hall. That works out at 100 miles.
If people want to support us and be there on our route to help with supplies like water, bananas etc then message Mark or Chase.

So we completed the run in 2 and a half days with a strong effort given, finishing the last 20 miles in 3 hours 45 minutes. Not bad after 80 miles. Mark damaged a ligament in His leg before this point and pushed thru the pain in massive fashion to finish strong. Thanks for the continued donations, it's great to see them still coming in. Thank you everyone for helping us reach our target and beyond with gift aid added on!
