Story
Thanks for stopping by!
From 23 - 29th September, I will be part of a team of fellow superheroes, cycling 700 miles, across 7 countries in 7 days. We're starting off in Zurich and 'bringing the bike back to Birmingham': http://www.7inseven.co.uk/
I signed up to this insane challenge with huge trepidation; riding through the pain barrier for seven very long, hard, gruelling days will be intense and immense. The climbing, terrain and distances to be encountered would challenge a pro-team, let alone those of us who work in an office in Birmingham!
The incredibly worthy cause is why this challenge has my full commitment. Help Harry Help Others is a local cancer charity that needs all the funds possible to support those in need. It’s been over five years since I’ve asked for sponsorship, and I hope you agree this deserves some of your hard earned cash!
My worst fear is what if the sheer pain of turning the pedals across 700 miles of road over hellish consecutive days means I resort to abandoning the bike for months when I get home. I have therefore upped my training to 150-200 miles a week and dedicated a great deal of my life outside of work to the bike.
All expenses for the 7inSeven mission are being covered by the participants, so all the money you donate will go straight to helping to find a cure for brain cancer, helping children and their families who are affected by any cancer, and the people who support them.
Please dig deep and give generously. Your support will genuinely keep me pedalling!!
