We fund research into childhood cancer to save and improve young lives

Story

As some of you may be aware Russell and I were supposed to be running the London 40th Virgin London Marathon April 2020. That was delayed until Oct 2020 due to COVID-19 and then subsequently cancelled. We ended up doing the Virtual London Marathon in Gibraltar, where we were stationed at the time, on the 4 Oct 20.

Both our marathon places were moved to 2022 but unfortunately due to our move back from overseas and Charlotte having an ankle injury life just got in the way, the Charity have kindly agreed that we could move our place to the 2023 London Marathon in Apr 23, so training now begins again.

Most people have been touched by cancer, whether that’s personally or a close family member or friend. We are no different, Charlotte had cancer in 2001 and was quite ill for nearly a year whilst she underwent chemotherapy and then radiotherapy. We owe a great deal to the medical team that treated her and the support teams like McMillan that also supported us as well as our own families that were just fantastic. We have therefore decided to raise money for Children with Cancer, a fantastic charity who deserve our support to help children going through the most traumatic of times,  please help us to help them - 🙏
