I have foolishly agreed to take part in the Henley Half Marathon in October this year! Having only run a total of about 5 miles ever in one go , I am slightly apprehensive, to say the least, as to how I'm going to get myself around a 13 mile course! However, I have managed to recruit a trainer whose mammoth task of training me for this run has just begun! I do believe he has his work cut out for him!

I work for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS) and have chosen to support them as it is an extremely worthy cause. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic, progressive and disabling auto-immune disease that affects nearly 700,000 people in the UK. It can be a painful disease if not treated early and can progress very rapidly. Please dig deep and make a donation - and don't forget to gift aid it!

£120 funds a resource pack for health professionals to provide patient support
