Hello friends!

During the lockdown I’ve started painting again, and have painted a few little portraits of friends houses. Some of you have seen them on my Instagram and have offered to pay me to do a painting of your house, which is very flattering!

We’re really fortunate in that we haven’t been impacted financially by the current Coronavirus situation, but I know that lots of people have been. Vulnerable families and children have been hit hardest, with some figures indicating that applications for charity support and food banks have increased by over 300% in the South West alone!

One charity trying their hardest to keep supporting the most vulnerable children locally is The Baby Bank Network Exeter. This charity provides vital support to vulnerable and struggling families with children under 2 years of age. They aim to reduce financial burden and poverty and to make sure that children don’t go without essentials such as nappies and clothing. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to not know if I could afford the very basics for my little girl.

So, my idea is this…. for a (minimum) donation of £15, I’ll paint you a very cute a5 portrait of your house, and any money I raise will go straight to The Baby Bank Network Exeter to help them to continue their work.

Each painting takes me a good few hours, so I’m going to offer 10 slots to start with (I can only really paint when Hettie is napping!) . If you’d like to help, send me a message and I’ll explain how you can donate and what I need from you to do your painting.

I’ll cover the cost of materials and postage, so 100% of what you donate will go to the charity.
