Thank you for looking at my page, here are some reasons why I am keen to help this charity.
In 2006 when I was 23, I had blood clots and was diagnosed with the little-understood autoimmune condition Lupus.
A few years ago I became unwell again and suffered a stroke. I was in a coma for 2 weeks and when I woke up I was unable to read or write and my memory had been severely affected.
I've had to learn how do those things again and work hard to improve my memory, although I'm not quite where I was.
It's been a difficult journey, but I feel lucky that I have been able to return to work, and have the amazing support of my boyfriend, friends and family.
Lupus has many symptoms but it is also an arthritic disease. This is why I want to run the London Marathon for this charity and help people who have painful, life-changing illnesses.
Thank you for your time, I really appreciate all support and sponsorship.
