Story
As you are all aware, in 2006 I was Diagnosed with Leukemia and received a Bone Marrow Transplant in the same year. 2006 became a year of Hard Work, Determination and Positive Mental Attitude.
Being only 13 years old I was faced with possibly the hardest diagnosis at such a young age, and to make things harder I had to go through this on a Children's ward with babies and toddlers. This made me feel isolated and that I was the only one.
So on the 30th May 2016, with Hard work, Determination and a Positive Mental I will be taking on a 10K Run.
Over the last 10 Years everyone has seen how much I have struggled with my health and so this is going to be a a really big struggle for me BUT I am fitter and healthier and I will prove that all for a fantastic charity, Teenage Cancer Trust!
Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity that helps Young People Aged between 13-24 Diagnosed with Cancer be among people the same age going through the same thing, so they don't feel like they are the only ones. They have specialist care and treatment on a Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, with staff who are trained to deal with Teenagers and Young Adults. They make sure Young People are Young people first Cancer Patients second.
However for every 1 Young Person Teenage Cancer Trust can hep there is 1 they cannot. With your help they will be able to edge that bit close to helping 100% of young people diagnosed with what is the cruelest and harshest time of anyone's life.
So please help Me raise as much money as possible and lets KICK CANCERS ASS!
Thank you!
