Hi everyone, 

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This summer I will be volunteering in Thailand for 6 weeks as part of a team from Leeds University on behalf of the charity 'For life'. During this time I will be volunteering in the Rainbow House orphanage looking after disabled children who have unfortunately been abandoned by their families. 

The charity 'For Life' exists to provide financial aid for the disabled and abandoned children in South East Asia by raising funds for the Christian Care Foundation for Children with Disabilities (CCD) The charity raises awareness for the plight of the forgotten children of Thailand and provides day-to-day care, rehabilitation and education for them. It is such a worthwhile cause making a real difference to a child's life.

In order for me to go to Thailand I need to reach my goal set by the charity of £700. This will go towards refurbishing a community-based rehabilitation centre, which will include a new playground, a toy library and physiotherapy and sensory rooms. Furthermore  just £1 will pay for a healthy lunch for 3 children, and £20 funds a monthly care package for parents with disabled children. So any donations, pounds or pennies, would be greatly appreciated and will help make a real difference!
