Story
Last August I lost my best friend Rachel Blaylock in a car accident, she was preparing for the Great North Run and never got to complete her run. When she started training we always used to joke about me running the Great North Run with her because I hated running and have never been on a voluntary run in my life. When I lost her it seemed fitting that I should finally get up and run for her, and also because I know that she would be laughing at me the whole time whilst secretly being very proud that she was the one who got me to do what I hated most. And I know that when I am running it will be like she is too because I will be carrying her in my heart. I want to raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance because they are an amazing organisation that save so many peoples lives, and if me raising money for them means that someone else does not have to go through the pain of losing someone that they love then it is worth getting up and running. Even if you are donating 50p every little bit helps and I would be eternally grateful, please help me to finish the journey that Blay started.
