Thanks for taking the time to visit my page.
Eliza is raising money for Pembroke Ward at Salisbury District Hospital. Walk for Wards unfortunately could not go ahead at Wilton House this year due to Covid 19, but it doesn’t stop us fundraising and planning our own private walk for such a tremendous charity.
Pembroke Ward has been a second home for my family since February 2020. I don’t think anyone can mentally or emotionally prepare you for the turbulent times ahead, but the support and dedication of the staff has been invaluable. The whole team at Pembroke have gone above and beyond, so we have decided to do something for them. On Saturday 22nd August, Eliza at just 5 years old has decided she would like to do a 5k walk to raise money to thank the people who have been doing such an amazing job of looking after someone who is so special to her.
Any donations would be so gratefully received.
Pembroke Ward
Pembroke Ward is a 10-bed ward with 3 bays that hold 2 patients at a time and four single side rooms with en-suite bathrooms. This ward is used for cancer patients who need to stay overnight rather than having treatment in the Day Unit.
