Story
****UPDATE*****
Well I did it! It was probably the most painful, depressing, lonely experience of my life and I would soooooo do it again! Thank you so much to everyone who has already sponsored me. You're money means so much to not only The Children's Trust but also to me, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I've smashed my original target of £1,600 but I would like to try and get to £2,000 so if you have any pennies spare then please get involved and sponsor me! Who knows.....I might do it again next year :-)

Hi everyone!
As most of you know, I've decided to take on the London Marathon (oh yes!) and try to raise as much money as I possibly can for The Children's Trust. It's a phenomenal charity who change the lives of not only the children they care and work with but also their families and relatives and I am really proud to be running on their behalf. This is a charity that is really close to my heart as my nephew is currently receiving care at Tadworth.
I'm sure you're all fully aware of how much I love my vino and the sales of Blossom Hill have plummeted by 30% due to my involvement in the marathon! But I know that it is all going to be worth it and I think I should be sponsored just for giving up the alcohol! I am however, relying on all of my lovely friends to be there at different points along the 26.2 mile course with bottles of Veuve Cliquot champagne instead of Lucozade to keep me going!
I have pledged to raise a minium of £1,600 but any more than this will be fantastic beyond words. Your money means so much to this charity and the children who are being cared for and that's why I'm asking you all from the bottom of my heart to please give anything you can afford. I know we're in the middle of a credit crunch (does anyone else think that sounds like a cereal?!) but even the smallest donation will make a difference.
I despise the cold, would rather get a cab ANYWHERE than walk it and the last time I seriously ran....it was for a bus because I didn't want to be home late from school! BUT....I am 150% determined and commited to finishing this marathon even if it sees me crawling over the finish line!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and sponsor me and I promise I will give you my bestest ever Paula Radcliffe impression :-)
And those of you who don't sponser me......I know where you live! Hee hee only joking....or am I?!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
