I am going to be Running and raising money for The Martlets. 

The Martlets Hospice is a Hospice local to me, it's a independent charity caring for Adults with life limiting disease where a cure is no longer available. It plays a vital role in helping people live life as fully as they can, right up until the end.

They also provide the much needed specialist care and counselling service for the families and carers during their loved ones illness and into bereavement. 

They care for over one thousand people with long term conditions such as Cancer, heart failure and neurological conditions in the Brighton and Hove area every year, it isn't NHS funded and needs over 9k a day to care for their patients and their family's. 

The Martlets service is provided by a team of nurses, doctors, consultants, social workers and health care professionals, the work these guys do is truely amazing.

Taking all of this into account the least I can do is run a few miles and try to raise some much needed money for the Hospice. It just shows how short life can be and how lucky we all are :) 

I'm so grateful for everyone's donations last year!!!! Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated and it's the last year I will pester everybody I promise :)
