Story
Taking part in the London Marathon has always been a goal of mine! To be able to participate this year and raise money for such a good cause is an absolute honour! St Elizabeth's Centre does amazing work for children, young people and adults with epilepsy, autism and other complex neurological needs. To be able to raise money for a centre so dedicated to helping others is truly inspiring.
St Elizabeth's is based in Much Hadham and cares for around 200 local children and adults with epilepsy, autism and other complex needs. This is a relatively small charity and cannot compete with larger charities that have the added benefit of expensive advertising. To be able to help raise money for a charity such as this is an opportunity to make a difference in peoples lives! All charitable donations for St Elizabeth's Centre go directly towards additional work and support, which is instrumental in making a difference for those people they care for.
Anyone who knows me, knows how I love football and training in the gym. I love a challenge! Training for and participating in the Marathon is going to be one of the biggest challenges I've ever faced but one I am going to attempt whole heartedly and raise as much money for St Elizabeth's Centre as I can whilst doing so!
Any contribution no matter how small can make a huge difference! I am looking forward to my latest challenge and ecstatic at the difference the money I raise is going to make to the people at St Elizabeth's Centre.
