Story

We should all fight for the right to be born free and when fellow living creatures can't fight for themselves, we must do it for them.

Talking is never enough so I decided I would do something which would challenge me and involve some sacrifice on my part, in the hope of inspiring people to support the vital work they do at Born Free Foundation.

I will be covering all my expenses, therefore everything I raise will go towards this fight for freedom. The animals can't thank you themselves, except by surviving and flourishing in the place the were born - in the wild!

I have been on charity treks before, but not for at least 12 years and that makes a difference. Climbing 4,985 metres to the top of Mount Kenya in 4 days is a big challenge for my present level of fitness. I have work to do and seeing your donations come in will be motivation enough.

Thank you, Charlie
