Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page, to raise money for the Countryside Alliance Foundation.
I'm a second year student at the Royal Agricultural College, studying Environmental Conservation and Heritage Management. I've always been keen on countryside sports, and what better way to show it, by running and raising for the Countryside Alliance Foundation.
Any donation big or small will be very much appreciated. Any one who has enjoyed countryside sports, will know that the Countryside Alliance Foundation have a big role in the rural community. I hope to set, and complete this challenge to myself.
The Countryside Alliance was created in 1997 as a response to the newly elected Labour Government’s pledge to ban hunting with dogs. An amalgamation of three organisations: The Countryside Business Group, the British Field Sports Society and the Countryside Movement, the Countryside Alliance has in its short life become the major British campaigning organisation on rural issues. With over 100,000 members the Countryside Alliance defends and promotes country sports and rural life at Parliament, in the media and on the ground.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and all the best for the coming season!
