Fundraising for The Romanian Foyer Trust
Story
Dear Friends,
As you may have guessed I’m running the London Marathon this year. Having run a couple of halves I thought it was about time to go the whole hog and do the full distance. So for the next couple of months I’m going to be running through the snow, hail, rain and wind to ensure I make it round in one piece. Due to the fact that I will be making such huge sacrifices I ask in return that you may find the time to make a donation to my charity of choice.
I’m raising money for the Romanian Foyer Trust. A small and very worthy charity set up and run by good friends of mine, so you know exactly where all the money goes. The Foyer provides for the needs of young people in who have left state-run children’s homes or are living on the streets. This is achieved in particular by the provision of a home and the advancement of education of the young people by access to training and support for employment and life skills. I’m aiming to raise enough money to pay for one young person to stay at the foyer for one year.
This really is an excellent cause, so please give as generously as you can. Thank you so much in advance, it really will be hugely appreciated by the charity and it’s recipients.
