Story
Hi everyone,
On the 27th June I will be cycling from London to Paris, covering the 203 miles in 3 days. Having recently recovered from a back injury, and having caught the cycling bug, i could think of no better way to get back to full fitness and to help those less priviledged than myself at the same time!
I am raising in excess of £600 for "HOPE for children" who are a low cost, no frills charity. The reason for this is to ensure 100% of the public donations go toward the cause for which it was donated. HOPE work with grass roots projects around the world to help provide basic ammenities such as health care and education for orphaned, exploited and disabled children in developing countries.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for me having recently got into road riding, and it will be a good challenge for me to re-gain my fitness ahead of this ride. More importantly, my cycling will benefit the lives of the children and communities associated with HOPE for Children. Any donations big or small will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support
Charlie
