As some of you may already know - I lost my dad when I was 16 to suicide. It was the most difficult thing my family and I had to go through- in particular me and my younger brothers who were all children. 

Suicide prevention is something I am very keen to support and so this year, in memory of my Dad who was taken from us 20 years ago - I am taking part in a Charity boxing match on December 3rd in support of East Kent Mind - something close to my heart 💙

I bet my dad is looking down on me now laughing but egging me on to ‘whack em’ like I used to when him and I would spar in the front room when I was a kid…. Not sure I quite have that stamina at this age 🤣 he always did say “char you’re a lover not a fighter” so we will just have to wait and see!

Date: Saturday 3rd December
Time: from 2pm - fights start at 3pm - don’t know my fight time until the day of!
Venue: Kent Show ground- Maidstone

Dress: men - suit/tie/shoes (won’t get let in without a tie) women - dress up

Tickets:
£50 for the first two weeks when it will then be £55 - this includes table service for drinks
(If you order online it’s a £2.50 charge)

So if anyone wants a ticket, let me know so I can secure my first table asap and be guaranteed a fight on the night! 

If anyone is not able to come but still wants to sponsor me please do so on this page. It would mean so much to me and my family and more importantly to others who may need to access support from the charity.

So .. on that note.. get sending me some money..  dig deep, big or small - every little counts! It’s all for charity- even if you do just fancy watching me get punched in the face! I really don’t care 🤣
