The idiots are back! Chris Barker, Jason Gibbons, Adam Hall, Mike Cockcroft, Nigel Hancock, Simon Livingstone, Malcolm Stoddart, John Tulin and friends will be taking to thier bikes again and riding off road from London to Brighton on Sunday 29th July 2012.

Help us out in any way you can, donate, give us stuff to auction just get in touch (showdown@type72.com). All proceeds are going to the Alzheimer's Society who provide support in the community as well as carry out research to help prevent dementia.

So why a showdown??

A long time ago on a bridle path far, far away . . . . Episode IV: A New Hope Hub.

It is a period of civil war. Trance mountain bikes, striking from a hidden Transit Van, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Cube.

During the battle, Trance spies managed to steal secret plans to the Cube's ultimate weapon, the Death Cube, an armoured space bike park with enough power to destroy an entire Giant Anthem.

Pursued by the Cube's sinister agents, handsome and rugged Prince Reign races from London to Brighton aboard his starship Trance, custodian of the stolen plans that can save his people and restore freedom to the mountain bike galaxy... and make a whole pile of cash for a very deserving charity the Alzhaimer's Society.
