March Knitting Challenge 2025 for Versus Arthritis

Fundraising for Versus Arthritis
My goal this March is to knit for at least 30 minutes each day to support Versus Arthritis.
I recently discovered a love of knitting Selbu mittens (a traditional Norwegian style of mitten), so my goal is to complete at least two pairs during March.
I want to complete both the Kvello and Evja mittens, both patterns by Skeindeer Knits. If I have time, then I plan to also begin a modified version of the Ingegärd mittens by Maja Åkerström.
Over 10 million people in the UK have arthritis. That’s one in six people living with the pain, fatigue, and restricted movement it can cause, with many more remaining undiagnosed, untreated and unsupported.
The March Knitting Challenge is a fundraising challenge where you can set your own target for what or how much to knit in March.
All fundraising will support people with arthritis, by helping to fund life-changing research, important campaigns, and vital support services. By coming together, we are making lives unimaginably better.
£18 could help Versus Arthritis answer a call to their helpline and give free one-to-one support and information to someone in pain.
£27 could help fund use of specialist equipment for an hour, so researchers can study the root cause of arthritis pain.
£100 helps provide a lab with necessary supplies needed to study the causes of arthritis and develop better treatments.
