Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of a fundraising event for Cameroon Catalyst, myself and a group of University of Southampton students will be walking 106km around the Isle of Wight.

Cameroon Catalyst is a charity which promotes sustainable development in rural Cameroon through bringing together engineering experts and students to lead projects.

Since being founded in 2009, the organisation has carried out 5 projects in a village called Bambouti ranging from introducing a medical centre, improvements to housing and education, and training the younger generation essential skills. This year we are fundraising to improve the access to water in this region as currently in eastern Cameroon 50% of the population do not have access to clean drinking water. We aim to introduce new wells and pumps to 10 villages in this region.
