I started running in earnest five years ago, just before the birth of my first child, as a way to channel my doubts and fears in the face of the pressures of such a significant life milestone. Since then, my long runs have become a means of finding true personal balance by getting to know my body and mind better. In those moments of solitude, I find the necessary distance to become aware of all the small, everyday moments where happiness surrounds me.
