Challenge12 - Sea to Sea Cycle 2017
James Frecknall - Andy Hewett - Lenny Sayers - Will Smith - Anna Hughes - Sarah Frecknall - Wendy Hawkins
There is something magical about being on the seat of a bicycle. Something magical about being in the outdoors and propelling oneself via pedal power. There is also something magical about the sea. So, we thought, why not combine the two things into something doubly magical (and really rather difficult, logistically challenging and, at times, maybe even be dangerous!).
On May 12th, a team of intrepid cyclists will embark upon a non-stop relay from the most westerly part of Wales to the most easterly part of England, and thus, the Sea to Sea Cycle is born. We are always looking for new team members and so get in touch with @cycleengland to find out more.
And WHY are we doing this?
To raise money for Holy's Home for Children!
Holy's Home for Children aim is to raise money and awareness for children in Ghana so that step by step we get closer to the goal of creating a fully self-sustainable orphanage where children will feel safe and supported. The project will benefit the local area by creating jobs, supplying clean, safe drinking water and offering range of other activities to benefit the community as a whole.
Holy's needs £20,000 to do this and we, working with Challenge12, will do our part to make this happen!
