Certitude is a charitable organisation that supports adults with learning disabilities across London. We believe everyone has the right to a good life, whatever that means to them.

Brixton is home to Joseph and his housemates. Certitude supports them in their own home, on a quiet residential street, 5 minutes from central Brixton.

A sensory garden is an area set aside to provide specific sensory stimulation to people who can’t get these experiences elsewhere. Think smelly herbs, raised beds, accessible decking, water features and outdoor musical instruments. Sensory stimulation and time spent outdoors promotes relaxation and positive emotions, this is as true for the people Certitude supports as it is for anyone else.
