A visit to the Holy land with a difference - cycling across the West Bank! I am raising money for Medical Aid for Palestinians and I'm paying all my own costs so all money raised will go direct to MAP.

It promises to be really challenging with an intensive training programme leading up to the ride in September!!

We will be riding through ancient trade routes and historical landmarks
and we will witness the challenges Palestinian communities face living
under occupation.

MAP delivers health and medical care to Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation and displacement. Over 250,000 Palestinians live on refugee camps on Lebanon, set up after conflicts in 1948. MAP provides midwives to help pregnant women living in containers in the camps. In Gaza, MAP provide emergency medical care and training for staff in trauma care and tackling malnutrition.  Today, MAP is able to reach the most vulnerable and ensure they receive the best healthcare available in difficult conditions.
