After rehoming tiny Crumble from a breeder just recently we realised very quickly just how many other Dachshunds there are out there need a loving home through no fault of their own. We wanted to help give back after hearing stories of others who got in touch with us. COVID19 unfortunately hasn't helped with the popularity for lockdown puppies increasing but as people return to some kind of normality sadly no longer can cope with the demands that comes with owning a dog. Every dog deserves the love and attention Cheesecake and Crumble have.

The Red Foundation protect the health and well-being of every dog in their care. They are also advocates of the breed and take their role as social educators very seriously. After an adoption has taken place, they don’t simply walk away from them. They provide lifetime support to all of our adopters, and stay in contact with them for the life of the dog. 

The Red Foundation is a registered Charity. They are 100% Non Profit and are all volunteers who have full time jobs, however their love of the breed means they spend all of their spare time running the charity
