I hope to raise some money to combat the most hideous disease-meningitis- which my daughter contracted when she was little. El had a miraculous recovery and only has hearing and balance problems but this disease kills and maims thousands every year.

Most people that catch the menningococcal form of this disease lose digits, limbs, hearing, eyesight, co ordination. Its really awful. Massive progress is being made , those of you with kids know that you can be immunised against some forms of this disease now but its not a well-funded area and there is still no vaccine for the most dangerous strains. Could you help?
