Emmaus Salford is a charity that supports people who have experienced homelessness. They offer a stable home, work, individual support and an opportunity to progress. "When you’re on the streets and everything is going bad, moving to Emmaus is a good feeling. I remember thinking this is sweet. I had my own room, I got fed, I had the work to keep me busy and basically, I had everything I needed. It was the best position I could have been in, so I was keen to make the most of it."
