Its all done.  My hair has all gone!!  I did feel a little bit emotional but now I just feel a bit chilly!!  Thanks to all the girls who came along to support me - Shelley, Rachel, Claire, Mel, Sam and Sonia.  It was great having you all there.  Rachel thank you for giving me such a great cut - you are the only person I would trust!!  Claire thank you for getting it all on video and Mel thanks for the great photos.    It was a fantastic experience and I am so pleased I've done it!!

I actually passed my £1000 target last night which was such a boost.  A HUGE thank you to all my amazing friends and family who have so generously supported this fantastic cause.  I cannot thank you enough.  Watch out for the article in this week's Maidenhead Advertiser.  Now please if you could lend me your nice warm hats, I would be most grateful!!

Its The Great Shave Off.  On Monday 16th January  I am going to shave all my hair off.

I am doing this to raise money for Cancer Research UK.  My lovely friend Shelley Hand has ovarian cancer but the brilliant news is she is in remission.  Shelley is one of the most amazing people you will meet - her positivity and inspiration and truly awe-inspiring and it is for this reason that I want to help and raise as much money as I can.  Shelley is also busy fundraising and to see her page, please go to the bottom of my page and click on My Team - "Shiny happy people".

Sadly we all know people who are fighting a battle with cancer, who are in remission or who sadly have lost their lives to cancer so please, please help me to raise funds - every penny counts.  Please donate and no amount is too small.  I know you get lots of requests, but I don't ask very often!!

My bright orange hair is my "trademark" and not only will I feel quite strange without it, but I will also feel quite cold!!  So you will see me wandering around with a variety of different hats and wigs over the coming weeks!!  If you would like me to wear a funny hat or wig when I am out and about, then drop it in and donate a little bit extra!!
