 On November 11th - 16th, GVI Cape Town are having our biggest challenge yet! The challenge will be raising funds to directly support two causes in the Cape Town Townships.

The larger challenge is to complete 350km in 5 days without any motorised transport. For a select bunch of fitness fanatics, this is the task ahead of them. For me, I have taken it upon myself to sign up to complete the whole last day of this intense test of endurance.

Along with a few dozen others, I will be walking from our base in Fish Hoek to Kirstenbosch Gardens at the foot of Table Mountain. This is about 25km and should take a good 5-6hrs. Then we will be climbing to the top of Table Mountain. This may take 2-3hrs and will complete a very long and arduous day.
