My sister died from Ovarian cancer 5 months after diagnosis. There is a general lack of understanding of the symptoms. We had no idea that the symptoms she had were classic of this disease. If we don’t act to raise awareness we will lose 4 million women to ovarian cancer by 2040. Someone else’s sister, mother, wife, partner,  daughter or friend.
