Story
Hello and welcome to my Justgiving Page. Thanks to my online friends I have raised over £2000 for the Downs Syndrome Association, Friends of the Earth, Action Village India and Parents for Inclusion. This year I am running for Breast Cancer Care. We all know someone affected by Breast Cancer, so I hope you can support this cause - a fiver or more , whatever you are willing to give.
I ran in the 5K womens Challenge in Hyde Park on September 5th 2010 in my red shorts and pink t shirt despite the fact that my mother taught me NEVER to wear pink and red together! But then the pink tee shirt is a reddish pink and the shorts are a pinkish red.
Breast CancerCare combines the personal experiences of people affected by breast cancer with clinical expertise, using this in a unique way to:
- provide information and offer emotional and practical support
- bringing people affected by breast cancer together
- campaign for improvement in standards of support and care
- promotes the importance of early detection.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please dig deep and donate now. I had a mastectomy on July 13th this year and will probably walk rather than run!
