People seeking asylum in the UK have £40.85 to live on for an entire week. The cost of living crisis will hit them harder than almost anyone else. Scottish Refugee Council help people arriving in the UK with legal advice, housing, benefits, schools and more.  They campaign for a fair and humane asylum system in the UK, and support and promote diverse and welcoming communities across Scotland. 

Next week I am running the Amsterdam Half Marathon to raise money for this wonderful charity. While it’s a difficult time for everyone, donations would be hugely appreciated.
