Hello!

I have rather worryingly found myself committed to swimming the English Channel with my friend Sian in a two man relay... and with the date fast approaching (28 July 09), the nerves are definitely setting in!  We are aiming to complete the event in 10 hours or less if the weather and sea conditions are right - so finger crossed they are!

Being in the Army and seeing so many of my friends regularly deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq, Help for Heroes was the obvious choice of Charity to benefit from our efforts. They do a fantastic job in genuinely helping our wounded servicemen and women.

So I am hoping that by the very fact that you have ventured onto this page that you are thinking of sponsoring me – I hope that you can help us reach our target of £5,000.
