The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a charity that keeps the two helicopters in the East Anglia region active and helping people. They get absolutely no Government or Lottery funding, relying completely on fundraising. Each trip out costs roughly £2,270 and they generally make 4-5 trips per day.

The Runway Run is an event run by the EAAA themselves and runs once a year to help raise these vital funds. I shall be taking on the 5k challenge, mainly to raise money for what I feel is an extremely important cause, but also as a personal challenge to myself, having been rather ill myself last year.
