Thank you so much for visiting my page.  My workplace, Redwheel are kindly allowing me to hold a Charity Race Night at our London office, supplying all the food and drink, plus prizes and props for the evening.  What's more, they have also very kindly offered to match any funds raised, up to £500.  Thank you Redwheel!

I decided to hold the Race Night to raise funds for the Brownie Unit that I am Brown Owl at; 1st Royal Eltham West Brownies.  We have 26 girls now, aged between 7-10 years old, all building confidence in themselves and hopefully building enough confidence, after being in Lockdown for 2 years, to have a weekend away in the countryside with the Brownie pack, away from their families.

They'll be in bunk beds in a Girl Guiding house near Dartford.  There, they'll be able to run around as well as do craft and activities based around their chosen theme of animals and nature.  We'll have a campfire and sing song, plus will do some star gazing and a torch lit tour of the grounds.  There's also a zip wire, an assault course plus ping pong so besides, learning about nature, there will also be plenty of other activities to keep them busy.

Donating via this link means that we'll also be able to collect Giftaid on donations too!  This additional 25% will be a great help to the Brownie unit, enabling us to have a bit more freedom to book external speakers to thrill the girls, to purchase uniform for those that cannot afford it and to potentially subsidise further organised events and rent coaches for trips etc.

The money always gets ploughed back into the girls (all leaders are unpaid volunteers ).  We want the girls to have an amazing experience in Girl Guiding, learning life skills and trying out new activities.

We are enabling the next generation.
