I have worked for Thames Hospice as a Pastoral Care Worker for 5 years,  and to mark this I am taking on 5 challenges this year to raise money to help all the amazing staff continue the compassionate and consistent care for patients and families. As part of the patient and family support team I have the privilege of being alongside people at a pivotal moment in their life. All the staff carry out their care with great respect and gentle compassion. These challenges will be carried out in memory of 5 friends in particular, but also in honour of all the people I have been privileged to help support.  Please donate to help us all continue this care.

I will be joined along the way by various friends as I undertake my challenges. The challenges are as follows:

April 9th: 50k walk (this is complete!)

July: Cycling round the Isle of Wight in a day  (completed)

September: Thames Path Challenge 100k (now complete)

December: The Grim (8 miles running through an army assault course) (now complete!) 

Throughout the year walking/running/cycling 500 miles with End to End (This is now complete)
