So after completing a couple of half marathons I've decided the next logical step would be to up my game to a full marathon - The London Marathon!!!

I thought the two half marathons I've done would be good preparation for this (I'm pretty good at maths) but I have been warned that this is most certainly not the case and that I have signed myself up to a world of pain, apparently much worse than the (not insignificant) pain of a half marathon..so I am a little nervous about all of this.

It's apparent I have a lot of hard (and cold!) training coming up but on the bright side I am really excited to take part in an iconic London event whilst also raising money for a very worthy cause - I am fundraising for Sense, an amazing charity supporting deafblind people in the UK, more on Sense below.

Nicole is also running (yes, it's true, I signed her up without her knowledge, what's a bit of identiy theft amongst friends?) and fundraising for Sense with me, all contributions are truly appreciated.

Wish us luck and I'll post further updates on here as April 2014 approaches!
