Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I had hoped to complete the GNR again this year to improve my time and raise some more money for SCT. However due to Covid the event has been cancelled this year. Instead I’ve joined the GNR Solo Challenge. I will complete a minimum of 40 runs between 28th June, the anniversary of the first ever GNR and the 13th Sept when the run should have been held. I personally pledge that each run will be minimum of 2 miles and I’m aiming to complete 100 miles total.
It would be amazing to raise some money for SCT along the way. Most of you will know my own family history with this charity 6 years ago. They continue to provide a vital service for families going thru scary times while a child receives vital hospital care. This Covid pandemic has hit everyone hard in so many ways, and charity’s too are struggling to stay afloat. I cannot even imagine what life would have been like without having a comfortable and safe place to rest so close by, when Adam was so poorly in hospital. If you can help in any way it would be so appreciated, any amount large or small adds up and makes a huge difference.
