Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I just wanted to do something to help the hospice as a big thank you for the help provided for three people - my sister in law Debbie Marshall, my granddad Herbert Marshall, and my groom's late wife Lesley Bayes.

"Saint catherine's is so peaceful. It's like heaven on earth. The care it provides not just for the patients but for all their relatives is unbelievable."

I hit on the idea of having my head shaved and approached my bosses at Boots in scarborough where I have worked for 27 years. The company agree to support me on the 4th July, I will be sitting in the foyer of the store having my head shaved. Boots have agreed to match fund whatever I can make.

"My hair will grow back so I'm the lucky one. There are so many people out there who lose their hair because of the cancer treatment who never get that opportunity. This is just a way of trying to help."
