We know that the Russian invasion is catastrophic for the whole population who need medical and food supplies and other vital services, and we also know that the psychological trauma of war will affect generations. We want to make a very practical response and so together are going to raise money to support those people who need this help urgently. We will donate the money raised to support a number of accredited and registered Ukrainian charities (through links with the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain and others) to provide medicines, food and critical services to support the most vulnerable to overcome the consequences and trauma of war. The money we raise will also be used to support the work of refugee charities in Poland, Hungary, and Moldova - and to the direct support of Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK.
