Hello!

As I am sure most of you know, I will be running the New York Marathon on 7 November 2010 with two of my great friends Gavin Smith and Ali Burke. 

I am raising money for MND Scotland, a cause very close to my heart.  My Dad was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in December 2008.  For those who are not familiar with Motor Neurone Disease, it is a progressively disabling and fatal condition and there is no known cause or cure.  MND Scotland is the only charity providing care and information to people living in Scotland with MND and it relies almost entirely on voluntary donations and fundraising for the provision of its services.  Their website is www.mndscotland.org.uk.  I would like to do what I can to help MND sufferers, by raising as much money as possible.
