There are over 10,000 people living with cystic fibrosis in the UK. Five babies are born each week with this condition. There is no cure for cystic fibrosis. It's a serious condition that requires careful management, But with the right care and treatment people with cystic fibrosis can lead a full life and many can are able to work, have families, travel and enjoy the same quality of life that others do.

Myself and a group of colleagues from work are trekking 13.2 miles over the Brecon Beacons in June to raise money and awareness to support investment in technology to develop improved treatments and, one day find a cure.
