Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As someone who’s eaten chocolate daily, for a good forty years, I thought that this would be a tough challenge for me.

I’m giving up chocolate bars, biscuits, drinks; even the dusting of cocoa on my cappuccinos.  Not so much as a crumb of chocolate is passing my lips.

Living with a chocoholic didn’t help me in the first week, but he’s now eaten up all the leftover chocolate in the house.

I’m determined to keep strong and raise as much as I can for this amazing charity. I feel that the bigger charities regularly take away the spotlight and I’d like to remember the small charities, and the animals too. X

Cuan rescue, care for and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wild animals and birds. Then release them back into the wild.

Each year they admit and treat around 5,700 creatures and need to raise £346,000 for day-to-day running costs. Please help us by donating time, money or items from their wishlist.

If you’ve seen an injured wild animal or bird, call us for advice on 01952 728070 or visit our contact page.
