This is a charity close to my heart for so many reasons. 

Lifesaving research saved my Mum almost 30 years ago however more recently I lost a beautiful friend to this dreadful disease. 

BCN focus on four key areas of research: risk and prevention, early detection and diagnosis, treatment and secondary breast cancer.

These key areas have helped other friends to be diagnosed and live with cancer however funding still remains an issue which is why I have chosen to challenge myself to run a ridiculous distance in training and on the day in order to support this charity.

Many thanks for your sponsorship and support. I will be running each and every mile of training and the marathon itself with you in my mind to keep me going!
