Story
Homelessness doesn't just occur when it's cold. It's every day all through the year. Homelessness isn't just about the cold. It's about not having somewhere to call home.
We are taking part in Transform's 'Sleep Out at Home' and will spend one night sleeping outside in our garden, just a door's width from our home, our beds, sofa, fridge, TV, bath.
Anyone's life can, through a set of unfortunate circumstances, be a short distance away from it too. For many vulnerable people it's a very thin line between having a home or not.
We are not trying to replicate homelessness but instead give a very small insight into what it's like without the comforts of home and to sleep out overnight - whatever the weather.
All money raised enables Transform to provide care and support to vulnerable people across Surrey to help prevent homelessness.
Transform really does change lives - you can see a short video of how they do this here > Transforming lives
