I'm running because my dad had a rare type of stroke and without the support and advice from the Stroke Association my family and I would not have known which way to turn.  They provide a wealth of advice, guidance and a chance to chat with stroke survivors and carers.  They have been invaluable to us and I wanted to give a little back.
