Story

It would have been Carole's wish that, rather than send or bring flowers to her funeral, you might instead make an equivalent value donation to a cause she cared about.

We chose the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee School where her sister, Sue Jay, for years inspired pupils with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties to develop independence, confidence and self-esteem. A fabulous school run by remarkable staff for amazing children.

The connection with Queen Elizabeth feels entirely appropriate: Carole attended the Queen's coronation and died on the day of her funeral.
